VALUE EDUCATION CLASSES ARE AS IMPORTANT AS THE CLASSES FOR OTHER SUBJECT. I KNOW WE ALL NEED TIME FOR OURSELF SO LETS UTILIZE THIS TIME TO REFLECT ON OUR OWN THOUGHTS.
Since class 1 you are introduced to value education class in your timetable . you have imbibe a number of values from your childhood to adulthood stage.
Thought for the day
VALUES ARE NOT TAUGHT THEY ARE CAUGHT.
The unexpected disruption of many of our normal activities ranging from classes, sports events, social gatherings involving large crowds, voluntary isolation, quarantines, social distancing, we are all being called to leave our normal routines and practices (many times these are our comfort zones), to necessarily pause, step back, and deal with the quiet time and space that we suddenly have. Each of us must choose what to do with this time and space.
I think that the present situation offers us a special invitation for reflecting on the moment we are experiencing . The 2 words we came across frequently during this time are pandemic and quarantine. What do we mean by it ?
Pandemic : a disease that spread over the whole country.
Quarantine : a state, period, or place of isolation in which people or animals that have arrived from elsewhere or been exposed to infectious or contagious disease are placed.
· How do you feel about the present situation?
· How does your younger sibling feels about the situation?
· How does your parent feel about the situation?
· Does the closure of school gives you happiness ?
· How are the people in your society affected ?
How life has come to a hault .
THE TECHNOLOGICAL GIANT IS LIVING UNDER THE FEAR OF RNA MOLECULE –CORONAVIRUS.
During this health crises we need to -
· Behave as a responsible citizen
· Follow the guidelines of the government
· Guide your younger sibling
· Feed the animals
· Feed the poor through contact via NGO
· Take care of grandparents
· Adapt to social distancing.
The situation we are experiencing due to the current health crisis can help us to see what our real needs are. Our voluntary social distancing can also help us to see how important relationships are in our life and sharpens our awareness of how we care for one another in our community, in our homes, and in society. This is a time for us to move from a “me” mentality to a “we” mentality.
Reflect and Comment :
In the comment section please mark your attendance and write one method which you would have adopted to deal with the situation by assuming yourself to be one of the significant member of government official of the state.

Good morning mam,
ReplyDeleteThe one method I have adopted to deal with the situation is that whenever I see someone on the street or on the road,I kindly tell them from my balcony to stay at home and tell them to strictly follow social distancing.
